The kids and I went up to the Sault this past weekend with Alek for his December drill. I took a lot of pictures, but I don't have time to sort through them and explain them all. (I have a ton of school work to get caught up on and Alek is in Washington all this week.) So I will briefly describe what we did:
First off, I need to explain: we let Ryleigh have her paci on the drive up so that she would not cry. (She has been without it for months!) When we finally got to the Sault, she did not want to let it go! So I caved and let her have it the entire time we were there. She was in heaven! She had her paci, blankie, and yellow bunny. She also loved to snuggle with them and grandpa. I was afraid she was going to be very upset when she got home and I did not give her the paci. Surprisingly, she did quite well! The last two nights, she went to bed just fine without it. Thank goodness!
We celebrated Great-Grandma Roe's 92nd birthday on Friday. Saturday Dane and Grandma Pat made a snowman. Sunday was the Christmas party where Dane and Ryleigh got to sit on Santa's lap and received a present. Dane received two nerf guns and Ryleigh got some My Little Ponies.
