Early Halloween Fun

Lately, there have been a lot of beautiful sunsets.  Here is the view from our backyard.

Ryleigh and Dane love to play in the kitchen, and Dane really likes to set up picnics/parties for me and drink tea. (I imagine Grandma Mary plays it a lot with him too.)

Dane is often full of TONS of energy.  Here he is giving me a big hug and nearly pulling me over.

Being goofy for the camera.

On Saturday, we went with the Matt and Angie Willson family to their Grosse Pointe Park for Halloween trick-or-treating. We first went to their house to have a late lunch and then got the children dressed up.  Ryleigh was the cutest little bumble bee I have ever seen.

Alek bought Dane this army outfit on one of his last business trips, so of course, Dane wanted to wear it for Halloween.  Hey, made it easy for me!

There were 40 stations set up, and we walked around the park to each one.  Dane was a little spooked by some of the Halloween decorations, but he definitely had fun!

Sunday, Alek and Dane carved the pumpkin Grandpa Roger and Grandma Pat bought for him and Ryleigh.
