Alek and I both had the day off today due to Columbus Day, and it was a gorgeous fall day! We started off by being able to walk Dane to school for the first time. It was really neat to see him enter his classroom, hang up his coat and start his daily routine. When we picked him up afterwards, I was sure to peek in to see if he was following directions and being a good listener. By golly, he certainly was! He was a perfect little student practicing writing the letter O, and then when he was told to clean up and go to his carpet, he did so very promptly. I was extremely proud of our little guy!
Grandpa and Grandma Roe bought Dane and Ryleigh this pumpkin. Thanks mom and dad! It looks so nice on our front porch!
Ryleigh all bundled up for the walk to school.
After school, Dane had lunch, then a nap, and then we went outside to play in the gorgeous fall weather.
Ryleigh is walking everywhere now and is very fast!
She is pretty good about not eating everything she touches. I am pleasantly surprised. Here she found a leaf.
Dane in our jungle of hostas.
Ryleigh loves to play in this car!
I started putting the chairs down in the basement and Dane was pretending to be on a train. Here Ryleigh and Dane are saying, "Chooo, Chooo!"
