June 8-10, 2012

This last weekend, we stayed home because Alek and I had (and still have) a big to do list. We got a lot of little projects done, but also got a big one done of getting all 47 handles put on the kitchen drawers. The rest of the time we just hung out and played in the yard.

Dane got this fireman outfit last year for his birthday from his cousins, but it was way too big at the time.  

Lately we have been having a slight problem with Dane deciding to just strip down naked wherever he wants.  He also thinks it is ok to just pull down his pants and pee outside wherever he wants (for example, on the sidewalk of Morningside Drive with cars driving by).  So needless to say, we are working on understanding private parts and keeping them private, lol.   Oh, and yes, I wiped off the drum seat ;)

Along with Dane getting a new drum set, he also got 4 lacross sticks and a ball.  He absolutely loves them and wants to play all the time.  He is learning that the more he practices, the better he gets.

Ryleigh loves soy yogurt but will only let me spoon feed her for a few bites.  She then gets super mad and wants to do it herself.  So, I have to sit back and let her do it.    I swear, she does get some in her mouth!

Ryleigh loves to be held and loves lots of attention (sounds just like Dane too).  So in order to keep both my babies happy, I wear Ryleigh while I play with Dane.

Mom, these pictures are for you.  I also took a video, but half the time I am lecturing Dane to put his clothes back on, ha ha. I will try and upload it to youtube later.   I've done nothing to the yard, but hope to next year.
