5 Month Belly Pics

Well now I am 5 months pregnant. Here are a couple pictures of my expansion. I am feeling great and have no ill-feeling pregnancy symptoms.

Below is the baby sitting: you see his right leg on the bottom and can barely see the other leg on top, but you can see in between! It's a boy! :-)

It's a Boy!

Yep, it's a boy! Alek is super excited! The second we saw the "goods," he was on the phone calling people and pacing back and forth with a humongous smile on his face. It was hard for me to keep from laughing because I was still getting the ultra sound done. I have a couple of pictures to post, but I don't know when I will get the chance to scan them in.
I need to get some food now, it has been a long day and baby is calling "feed me, feed me." LOL

Busy Month

Not too much is new around here. The weather is slowly starting to warm up. Today after school I was so excited to drive home in the bright sunshine and be able to roll down my car window a bit to get some fresh air. Granted, it was only 32 degrees out, but it sure felt warm compared to our below zero weather. I am hoping to get outside more now and go for walks after school :-)

Alek and I are very busy this month! This week he is in Georgia for Army stuff, next week I am in Detroit for school conferences, and then the following week Alek is off to Missouri for more Army stuff. He also had drill this weekend and had to work very long, late hours. I am starting to feel like the Army sees my husband more than I do. Just kidding.

Next Monday, the one day Alek and I are both home this month, we have our next doctor's appointment and ultra sound. If all goes well, we will get to find out what the baby is. We have been discussing names and like Rileigh Reay Willson for a girl, but haven't been able to agree on a boy name yet. Last week, I jokingly mentioned that if it was a boy, we could name it Finnigan, and I laughed. However, Alek looked at me seriously and said he really liked that name. OH NO! LOL! Now I can't get him to stop mentioning it. That's the last time I joke around about baby names, ha ha ha. Anyways, as soon as we find out what the sex is, I will be sure to post it along with the ultra sound pictures.

Uncle Al's Retirement Party

Last night was Uncle Al's retirement party (his wife, Shirley, is my mom's sister). My cousins, Betsy, Peter, and Betsy's baby, Madeleine, flew in from Utah as a surprise.

Valentine's Day

For Valentine's Day, Alek got me this beautiful, heart shaped bouquet of roses, carnations, and baby's breath. Then I bought him lunch at Frank's Place, and he got his favorite meatball soup :-) We were going to go to the movies tonight, but my stomach feels a little upset, so we are going to stay home and watch Man vs. Wild instead (the guy on that show is insane).

Friday night, we went to the Casino to see Mike Winslow do a comedy show. He is the black guy from the Police Academy movies that makes all the funny noises. It was hysterical and amazing to hear what he can do with his voice! We definitely got a good laugh that night!


14 Weeks Pregnant
My belly really popped out this week, and my pants are getting super tight in the waist, even when using a safety pin.

Alright, here are some pictures, but you can barely tell right now. I also had the flu this week and lost a couple of pounds, but I am sure I will quickly put it back on. School was actually closed Thursday and Friday because we had so many students absent and we needed to disinfect the school.
