Growing up too fast!

These pictures where taken last weekend.  Both Dane and Ryleigh are surprising me everyday with how mature they are becoming.   I am treasuring these moments like you can't believe!

Ryleigh at 1 1/2 years old.  Such a cutie-pie!  Love her smile!

The weather was very nice last weekend, so the kids and I went for a walk to Ferry Elementary School.

Ryleigh had a blast playing on all of the playground equipment!

He surprised me here when he showed me how determined he was to get across this part.  He had asked for help, but I was helping Ryleigh and couldn't help him and told him maybe later he could try.  His exact words where, "No!  I can do this!"  He got this determined look on his face and grunted his way across.  We both were so proud of his accomplishment!

Yay! We made it!

Dane was then quick to show me how he could hang upside down.  I had never seen him do this before either.   Wow!

March 2013

Every night after the kids' bath, Dane and Ryleigh have little ritual. First, they put on their animal towels and roar like a dinosaur or quack like a duck, and then they run all around the upstairs. Then they come back to my room and want their towels taken off so they can run around again... but naked. They both run around yelling, "naked babies" and pat their tummies. It is so funny! I should definitely try and get it on video.

Our morning routine is the kids watch cartoons in bed while Alek and I get ready for work.  Sometimes Ryleigh gets her paci if she is being fussy, and I don't have the time to calm her down.  I hate giving it to her, but it works so well!

Last weekend, we went outside for a walk in the soccer field.  We bundled up, as it was quite chilly out.

Dane found a BIG stick.

He also found a basketball in the field.  (The field is covered with a protective tarp.)

Ryleigh is always digging in the freezer.  Here, she put on an oven mit and pulled out the boo-boo owl.

Libby Rose handed down to Ryleigh this adorable pink robe.

She looks so grown up!
