February 15-24, 2013

Woo wee, after two months of sickness within the family, we all seem to finally be getting heathy!  What a crazy winter!

So cute! Ryleigh insisted on wearing Dane's coat when she was rummaging through the closet.  She was very proud to be able to wear it =)

Last weekend was the first weekend I finally had some energy back.  So, I took the kids to McDonalds to play.  It felt good to get out of the house and do something fun with them.

Peek-a-boo!

Look at me!

Ryleigh had a ton of fun playing on the slide!

It was hard to get a picture of Dane, as he can move very fast through the jungle gyms now.  This was a rare moment, where I quickly caught him and got him to say cheese.

Our boy is now 3 1/2 years old!  Wow!

Since Dane let me take a picture of him for this monthly photo, I let him take a picture of me =)

Last Wednesday, Dane came to school with me so that we could take a tour of the Early School.  (I hope to send him there next year.)

Sitting in my chair watching the students arrive.

The following pictures are a room in the Montesouri school.  It is a huge room with centers for each subject.  This picture is the left side of the room.

Middle of the room.

Top right of the room

Right of the room

And back to where I was standing in the doorway.  This circe is where the students gather for instruction.

We then entered the Kindergarten room, and Dane had no problem fitting right in the with other kids.

This weekend, we had really good packing snow, so Ryleigh, Dane and I decided to bundle up and go outside.

As soon as Ryleigh heard me say we were going outside, she ran to the closet to get Dane his shoes.

Ryleigh and her shoe obsession....  The other day, she took all of the shoes out of the closet and lined them up in the hallway =)

She was getting tired of me snapping pictures, ha ha, but she looked so cute.  I just had to try and get another picture. Oh well.

What a smile!

Making a snowman in the front yard.

Hmmm... He needs a hat.....

Much better!

February

Ryleigh and Dane received Valentine's gifts in the mail from Grandpa Roger and Grandma Pat.  They LOVE the lights!

Relax bottle:  I saw this on pinterest and decided to make it on Friday when we had a snow day.  It is to be used when Dane takes a time-out.  He watches, settles down and relaxes until all of the sparkles settle.  I haven't had a chance to use it yet though.

Two different outfits.  Hmmmm..... I think I will use the above picture for Ryleigh's 17 months photo.

She is getting good at smiling and saying cheese =)

If it is quiet and you don't know where Ryleigh is, just check one of the closets.  She is always rummaging through them trying on hats, scarves, gloves, shoes, etc.

Oh no, the hat is sleeping.  "Mom!  Help! I can't see!"

The little drama queen.

"Hmmm, let's see if the glove will go on my foot."

"Nope, that is a little too hard, so let's try baby's foot."

Mickey Mouse Scar

Shingles has left me with a branded (and, yes, very indented) Mickey Mouse scar.  I am sure it will get much better, as it is still healing.

Picture for Betsy =)
