Sooooo Sick!!!

I have been sick for exactly one month now.  Boy, am I sick and tired of being sick and tired!!!!  I have taken very few pictures due to my illnesses (strep throat, flu-like symptoms, shingles, another sore throat, and head cold).  Dane also had strep throat and pink eye, and Ryleigh is sick with some sort of head cold too.  The good thing though, Alek has been healthy through it all! Thank goodness!  His immune system always amazes me, as he rarely gets sick whenever everyone around him does!

So here are the few pictues that were taken over the past few weeks.

Just before my shingles outbreak, we went to a monster truck show at Ford Field!  We had so much fun, and Dane is still talking about it weeks later!

Another picture of Dane and Ryleigh enjoying their popcorn.

My babies and my shingles on my forehead =(

Since Ryleigh has been sick, she has been allowed to have her paci to help soother her.  She is loving it! However, as of tonight, it is gone again because she is starting to feel better.

Fun Times on Christmas Break

Jungle Java: Ryleigh's first time playing through the jungle gyms.

Dancing fun at Jungle Java.

I bought this sled for $5 at a Mom-to-Mom sale.  It is built really nice, but it is rather small.  Ryleigh was a little reluctant to get on at first, but once she did, she enjoyed it.

Alek encouraging Ryleigh to stay on the sled and have fun.

Grandpa Roger and Grandma Pat visited us for a few days.  (They were driving back from Adam and Amy's house in New York.)

Grandma all cuddled up with her grandchildren and watching Dora on the computer.  Thanks Grandma for the DVD!

Ryleigh now liking the sled.

She even let Dane pull her.

The Detroit Science Center was closed for a long time due to a lack of funding.  It just recently reopened and is now called the Michigan Science Center.

I bet Alek was glad he did not get called up on stage to perform this stunt with the other dads.

For New Years Eve, we ate at Fishbones.

When it was time for grandma and grandpa to leave, Dane really wanted to go with them. So he did! He will then return with Alek when he comes home from National Guard drill.   You can tell from these pictures that he is having a lot of fun up in the Sault!

Rosy cheeks from playing outside.

Thanks so much mom and dad for taking such great care of Dane!  You are making great memories!
