Feeding the Fish and More
Our neighbors across the street are out of town and have asked Dane to feed the fish in their backyard. Dane gets a quarter each time and puts it in his piggy bank. The yard is absolutely beautiful, as you will see in the pictures.
A stone pathway leads to the back yard, and it is nicely decorated!

In the backyard is a mini-nature trail

As soon as the fish see us coming, they all swarm up and wait anxiously for their food.
They gobble it right up!

Ohh, we spotted a frog!
Of course, he wants to try to touch it.

Today I went to school to start getting my classroom set up. Here are some pictures to see what it looks like so far.

Happy 3rd Birthday Dane!
For Dane's birthday Grandpa Roger and Grandma Pat came down to celebrate and go to Dane's first baseball game. The Detroit Tigers defeated the Baltimore Orioles 5 to 3, and there were amazing fireworks after the game! We all had a great time and Dane was perfect (well, except for when he kept trying to stroke the 3 pretty girls' hair who sat in front of us, ha ha).

Aunt Abby got Dane this baseball hat for his birthday. The look on his face when he opened it up was priceless. He was so stinkin excited!
Comerica Park has a baseball ferris wheel, so of couse, we had to try it out.
Up, up, up we go!
We then ate very expensive hotdogs and pop. Every kid has to have a ball park frank!
Our seats were awesome! Row four, right in front of third base and with the Tiger's dugout to our right.
Cabrera warming up.
More of the team warming up right in front of us.
During the warm-up, Austin Jackson threw a ball into the crowd and look who's glove it landed in! Wow! Thanks so much Grandma Mary and Grandpa Bob for the glove! It definitely came in hand!
The row behind us won the "Pizza Roll" so they got a ton of free pizza. There was a bunch left over, and they shared it with us. Yum!
Funny Grandpa!

Dane being goofy. He had such a good time!
Grandma Pat read "Three Little Pigs" to Dane, and now he wants it read over and over. Here is grandpa reading it Saturday morning.
Ever since Dane saw Ayson's batman, he has been obsessed with it! Here is his batman themed party.
Guess Ryleigh couldn't wait till her first birthday for cake.
She seemed to think it was her party too.
But Dane quickly stepped in and showed her it was all about him instead.
Oh being a nice big brother and letting Ryleigh "help."
We told him to rip it hard and he sure did!
The birthday boy!
