More Pictures of Chandler Park

Angie, her friend, and I took our kids to Chandler Park in Detroit today.  We had never been there before so we didn't know what to expect.  We were very glad we did though!  It was so much fun for everyone!

Luke was tall enough to go down the waterslides.  Next time we go, I want to go down them!

Lex, Luke, and Liam had a ton of fun swimming in the wave pool.  They sure got a lot of exercise swimming through those waves!

Libby, Liam and Dane all pooped out!

July Pictures

What a busy month! We started off July by coming back from a week long trip in Hunter, New York with the Willson Clan. We then went straight up to the Sault to visit with the Roe / Ryan families.

Dane playing with Ayson in Grandpa and Grandma's hot tub (minus the hot).

The boys also had fun going for a ride on Uncle Al's and Aunt Shirley's golf cart.

Dane driving grandpa's boat

Ryleigh could barely move in her life jacket.  She was as snug as a bug in a rug!

I stole a picture of Ayson and I got him to look =)

As soon as we got back from the Sault, we celebrated Baby Mary's first birthday at my house.  Grandpa Bob, Uncle Nik, Aunt Kuuj, and Baby Mary were all visiting from the Marshall Islands.  Above is a picture of Ryleigh in a cute dress for the party and I got her to wear a bow without her pulling it off.

Happy 1st Birthday Mary!  (She had little bows in her hair, but they came out.  Imagine that!)

The kids had a lot of fun playing in the pool.  So cute!

Getting ready to sing Happy Birthday

Somehow Dane snuck in to blow out the candles.

Oh wow, a picture of me!  Caught off guard, but at least it is a picture.

The Drysdale family got us all Detroit T-shirts from Jim's company:  http://detroitshirt.com/

The following weekend, we went back up to the Sault because Alek had drill there.  Here we are at the Soo Locks.

Dane and Alek feeding the seagulls.  I don't think I have ever seen so many!  There were even a bunch on the roof (grandpa wasn't too amused about it as they were pooping all over it, ha ha).

Ryleigh got a kick out of watch all the birds.

While grandma watched Ryleigh, I took Dane to Sherman Park.

He is getting to be such a big boy!

Grandma Pat and Ryleigh at 10 months

Ryleigh has 5 teeth.  Two on bottom and three on top.

She loves to play with the magnets on the dishwasher.

We are now into the last week of July.  Alek had a work function where families were invited to come and get to know one another.  They had lots of kid friendly games!

Ryleigh hung out in the stroller while she watched Dane play.

There was even a petting zoo!

Weeeeeee

I can't believe Ryleigh is now big enough to ride Dane's car.

I love this picture because Dane is making a funny face that makes him look terrified.

Video from the Farms Park

The month of July was extremely busy for us! I will try to upload some pictures from it when I get a chance, but for now, here is a video of Dane and Ryleigh at Grosse Pointe Farms park today (it isn't much but at least I got something on here).  Dane had a blast running through the splash-pad and swimming in the pool. Ryleigh had fun too, but the sunscreen I put on her really bothered her eyes when she got wet. Oh, and in the video I try to get Ryleigh to say hi because she can now. She can say mama, dada, kitty, hi, and du for duck. She can also stand alone for about 5-10 seconds. She is growing up so fast!

Mosaic by Bob Willson

Bob did the backsplash in our kitchen and then also created this beautiful mosaic from cut up pottery he found around the area.  We absolutely love it!  I will post more pictures of the full kitchen later.
