Alek Update

Sorry I haven't posted much lately, as I am sure many of you would like to hear an update on Alek. My excuse is that I have been very busy being a single parent, working, and taking a 4 credit course through school.

Alek called a few days ago when he was in Kuwait. He said he was doing really well and the flight over was smooth. The weather was about 75 degrees during the day and about 50 at night. He said he was very busy, but was able to play some volleyball with the other soldiers when they had some down time. He told me once he first gets to Iraq he will be working a lot and will have little time to get on the internet, but he will try to get in contact with me when he can. We both have webcams on our computers, so I am anxious to show him how big Dane is getting :) If anyone would like his mailing address, just e-mail me.

This weekend I hope to post a bunch of pictures and videos of Dane for Alek.

4 1/2 Months

Dane Rolled Over!

On January 6, 2010, Dane rolled over at 4 1/2 months old.

Dane's Uncles

Dane Marshall Willson was named after his two uncles: Nikolas Dane Willson (Alek's brother) and Marshall Causbie (Alek's Uncle).

For Christmas, Alek was able to come home for 10 days from his deployment, so we went down-state to visit his family. It was really nice to see everyone, and we all had a great time!
