A couple of weeks ago, Grandpa Roger, Grandma Pat, Dane and I all took a break and went to Canada to go shopping in the mall. Dane had a blast playing on all the little kid rides!

Busy! Busy! Busy!
This holiday season has been very busy for us. Alek has been working down in Warren, MI for the past few months, and Dane and I are finally moving down to the area so that we can be together again. We will be renting a house in Grosse Pointe, and I will be a stay at home mom. So these past few weeks, I have been getting ready for the big move.

Visits with Grandpa and Grandma Roe
Growing Up So Fast!
Tomorrow my sweet little baby boy will be 15 months old. Time has gone by so fast, it just blows my mind! Dane can now understand much of what I say and can say (or slur out) the words: dada, mama, kitty, meow, moo, diaper, ucky, night night, and thank you. I even could have sworn that last night when I laid him down in his crib and told him I loved him, he said, "I love you mama." But maybe it was my imagination =)

Mommy hard at work =)

Lately, Dane loves to climb up on the chair and read books.

Horsing around on mommy's bed.

Lots of hugs!

Forget the toys, just give Dane a yogurt cup.
This morning I asked him if he wanted a cracker; he shook his head no. I asked him if he wanted a banana; he shook his head no. I asked him if he wanted milk or juice; he shook his head no. Then I asked him if he wanted a waffle, and he shook his head yes! This is so crazy to me! I am not used to communicating with him so well!
Another thing that is nice (and now I know why my mom and dad did it to me and Amy so much) is that I can ask Dane to do stuff for me and he does it (well, most of the time, ha ha)! I can ask him to get me the remote, hand me my shoes, or put the dirty clothes in the laundry basket, etc. He is such a good little helper! I might have to get me some more little helpers around the house ;)
