I am 6 months pregnant now. Wow, time has flown by! A couple of weeks ago I finished the baby's room with the painting and wall border, and Alek put the crib together. This weekend I sorted through the loads of baby clothes that Angie is letting us use, and I hung them up and put them in the dresser. It is all coming together nicely. We just need a baby to go in it :-)

Here is a picture of me this morning before church. There is no hiding the baby bump now!

Mary's visit from the Marshall Islands

Alek's mother, Mary, is visiting from the Marshall Islands. Last weekend, when Alek and I were down in Gross Point Park at Matt and Angie's, she bought us a wedding cake so we could celebrate our marriage together. Mary then drove back up with us to the Sault and spent the week with us. Saturday we went hiking in Canada (about 20 minutes away) at Kinsman Park. There was quite a bit of snow there, compared to Sault, MI, but the weather was really nice and in the high 40's.

Nursery

This is the bedroom set I bought for the baby. I got everything (including the wall border) except for the car pillows, seat cushion, and small blanket hanging on the crib.

Tomorrow I have the day off for Good Friday, so I am going to finish painting the room, and hopefully this weekend I can get the border put up.

Shout out to Matt and Angie Willson:
They gave us a crib and a TON of baby clothes for 0-3 months and 3-6 months. Alek and I are very grateful for their generosity. Thanks Matt and Angie!!!
