Uncle Al's Retirement Party

Last night was Uncle Al's retirement party (his wife, Shirley, is my mom's sister). My cousins, Betsy, Peter, and Betsy's baby, Madeleine, flew in from Utah as a surprise.

Valentine's Day

For Valentine's Day, Alek got me this beautiful, heart shaped bouquet of roses, carnations, and baby's breath. Then I bought him lunch at Frank's Place, and he got his favorite meatball soup :-) We were going to go to the movies tonight, but my stomach feels a little upset, so we are going to stay home and watch Man vs. Wild instead (the guy on that show is insane).

Friday night, we went to the Casino to see Mike Winslow do a comedy show. He is the black guy from the Police Academy movies that makes all the funny noises. It was hysterical and amazing to hear what he can do with his voice! We definitely got a good laugh that night!
